Hello! My name is Rich Yerry LCSW-R, and I am a psychotherapist licensed in New York State (License #084511). I offer in-person and telehealth counseling to teens, adults, seniors, and couples.
I attended the University at Albany and have over 12 years of experience providing clinical treatment for a vast range of issues. I also have administrative & leadership experience as a former clinical supervisor at a large integrated behavioral health & primary care clinic.
I am passionate about helping you overcome issues such as: Anxiety, depressed mood, addiction, lifestyle changes, parenting, interpersonal conflict, marital stress, chronic pain conditions, trauma, career stress, and caregiver burnout. I have a breadth of experience working with educators, healthcare professionals, along with first-responders (military, police, firefighters, paramedics).
Additionally I offer supportive and engaged case consultation for therapists and prescribers. I thoroughly enjoy discussing complex cases to facilitate resolution of counter-transference or other treatment-interfering issues that limit treatment effectiveness.
